'B' Radio Controlled Car-Quadcopter On Kickstarter
UK based product designer Witold Mielniczek has created a small radio controlled vehicle ‘B' that comes with the capabilities of an R/C off-road car and R/C quadcopter.
The rear wheel driven polycarbonate vehicle has large 220 mm diameter wheels which gives it decent off road capability, but if the going gets tough on wheels it can take to the air vertically using four 7 inch propellers.
The ability to both traverse on road and fly above the surface makes the machine suitable for use in a variety of terrain. What makes it further effective is the onboard video camera, which making it particularly useful for rescue operations and exploration in general.

Each wheel and propeller combo is run by brushless motors.

The on-board camera can record video in 720p and can store 32GB worth of data.

The wheels and the propeller blades are flexible and the polycarbonate body, light. This makes ‘B' extremely durable, capable of withstanding repeated crash landings.

‘B' is powered by a 11.1v 2200mAh Lithium ion battery. A single full charge will last 15 minutes.

‘B' developer Witold Mielniczek currently requires funding to get it into production and make further improvements. His Kickstarter goal is to raise £47,889 or INR 74,34,105. If you are interested in owning one you can head over to the Kickstarter to pledge.
