Hyperloop, the foreseeable future of transportation, is an ingenious combination of airplane velocity and the stress-free comfort of train travel. This method uses capsules or pods that glide inside vacuum tubes with breathtaking speeds up to 1200 km/h.

In July, IIT Madras's 'Avishkar Hyperloop' project brought this dream closer to reality. Team leader Medha Kommajosyula shared their vision passionately, expressing their close proximity to validating the hyperloop concept with physical experiments. She extrapolated that if they continue at the current momentum, a fully functional hyperloop rail might be a reality in around a decade.
