The most expensive VIP Number Plate sold in Andhra Pradesh
Many Indian consumers are superstitious when it comes to vehicle number plates. People often believe in certain "lucky" numbers, which may be linked to religious beliefs, birth date, or other personal significance.

There have been several reports of people spending huge amounts of money on VIP number plates that they consider special and unique. One such incident recently occurred in Andhra Pradesh, where a man bought a used VIP vehicle number plate for a staggering ₹2.08 crore.
The number 'DDC 0001' was owned by Jatin Ahuja of Big Boy Toyz, and he recently auctioned the plate. A man named Kiran Kolpakula from the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh won the bid for this record amount. The number plate is considered a rare collectable, which led to intense competition among bidders.

According to Cartoq, Jatin Ahuja, the owner of the VIP plate, said, "When you're dealing with assets of this value, transparency and verification matter more than anything else. The ₹2.08 crore auction of DDC 0001 reinforced that collectors are ready for a platform they can believe in, no matter where they come from."
Apart from this, the brand also sells several luxury cars previously owned by popular celebrities, including Shilpa Shetty, Rohit Shetty, and Dinesh Karthik. Big Boy Toyz also owns other VIP vintage number plates, including CHE 78, HR 59, and 0001. There have been multiple reports of people purchasing number plates that cost several times more than the vehicles themselves.
Last year, a man from Haryana bought the number plate "HR 88 B 8888" for ₹1.17 crore, making it the most expensive number plate at the time. However, he failed to make a payment. The plate was later re-auctioned and sold for just ₹26.7 lakh.
