Alonso & Button Of McLaren Honda Meet The UNI-CUB
McLaren has partnered with Honda as their official engine supplier for 2015 Formula One championship. They have also roped in a new driver in the form of Fernando Alonso.
There is a lot of media events and interactions that the drivers are part of. McLaren Honda' Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso had a special meet with the UNI-CUB.
The UNI-CUB is a personal mobility device that has been developed by Honda engineers. Both McLaren drivers seemed to enjoy this new device and had some fun off the track as well.
Honda had introduced their very first UNI-CUB in 2012 and have since then improved it by leaps and bounds. It has been developed from their humanoid project.
The UNI-CUB works on electricity stored in a lithium-ion battery pack. It has a maximum speed of six kph and has been designed for use within the house of an individual.
We wonder if Button and Alonso could use Honda's UNI-CUB to travel in the pit area? What do you think of Honda's unique invention does it make sense or is it something that is just too unique to be used?
