5 Used Cars You Can Buy Instead Of The iPhone 14
Here's a list of 5 used cars that you can buy for approximately the same price as the new iPhone 14 Pro Max (1TB).
Maruti Suzuki Alto
The Maruti Suzuki Alto has always been a great first car as the model offers low maintenance cost, great fuel efficiency, peppy performance at a reasonable price point. You can easily find a good-condition used Maruti Suzuki Alto hatchback in the country with a budget of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh.
Powering the Maruti Suzuki Alto is a tried-and-tested 796cc, naturally-aspirated, 3-cylinder engine with 47bhp of power and 69Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and comes with features such as power windows, power steering and more.
Renault Kwid
Unlike the mundane-looking Maruti Suzuki Alto, the Renault Kwid offers an SUV-like stance in a relatively compact footprint. This is one of the reasons behind the success of Renault Kwid in India. Though the Renault Kwid is a relatively new car, used ones can be found as low as Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 2 lakh in India.
The Renault Kwid comes with a choice of two engine options. The 0.8-litre engine produces 53.26 bhp and 72 Nm of torque, whereas the 1.0-litre engine produces 67.06 bhp and 91 Nm of torque.
Hyundai i10
The Hyundai i10 is probably the most premium hatchback on this list and almost every owner of the Hyundai i10 has high praise for the model. Pre-facelift models of the Hyundai i10 are an easy find and you can get one for as low as Rs 1.3 lakh.
It is also worth mentioning that the Hyundai i10 was available in two engine options - 1.1-litre and 1.2-litre. We recommend getting the 1.2-litre ‘Kappa' variant if your budget allows you to do so.
Hyundai Santro
The Hyundai Santro laid the foundations for the success of the South Korean automaker in India. The second-generation Hyundai Santro (Santro Xing) is also an easy find and can be bought as cheap as Rs 1 lakh.
Powering the Hyundai Santro Xing hatchback is a 1.1-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 62bhp of peak power. Moreover, this hatchback is also well-suited to tall drivers as well.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is the slightly more powerful version of the Maruti Suzuki Alto hatchback. Though finding one is a difficult task, you can buy a decent condition Alto K10 for around Rs 1.75 lakh.
Unlike the Maruti Suzuki Alto, the Alto K10 is powered by a larger 1.0-litre, K10 series engine. This engine produces 67bhp of power and 90Nm of torque. Also, Maruti Suzuki claimed a 0-100km/h sprint time of just 13.3 seconds for the Alto K10 hatchback.
Thoughts About Buying Used Car Instead Of iPhone 14 Pro Max (1TB)
At Rs 1.9 lakh, the 1TB iteration of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is indeed an expensive affair. However, if you are planning to buy one and still don't own a car, the above options will also fit your budget albeit it doesn't fit your requirement (just for the sake of owning the most expensive iPhone).
