How Women Drivers Are Better Than Men

There are some activities that have been considered gender specific. Many say men are more skillful when it comes to driving and are most suitable for it. Which in other words women are not. But if you can consider the below points, you might as well agree that women are better drivers than men.

Driving is a skills based activity and it cannot be grouped based on gender. Any person with proper learning and understanding can turn out to be a good driver. The traits that a good driver needs to have are an alert mind, attentiveness, practice and good training. If all these are there in a woman driver, there is little doubt that she will turn out to be a good driver.

Woman are gentle by nature and this makes them better drivers particularly in city traffic. They do not try to overtake each and every vehicle in front of them like men do. They are also not disturbed when some car with lesser power overtakes them. Statistics show women are the least involved in such unwanted street races.

Women tend to take driving seriously. Hence they follow all traffic rules that they are told to. This makes them safe drivers in almost all cases. You can have a look at the number of fatal road accidents and you will see that the percentage of women drivers involved in such cases is comparatively low. They do not take unwanted risks and hence provide a safer drive.

Women drivers also tend to be relaxed while driving. They do not get worked up when in heavy traffic. In fact they get more careful. This might make the journey a little longer but it will ensure you are safe.

Women do not consider cars as something that express their personalities. Men believe the car they drive is a sign of who they are, but for women it is just a means of transport from point A to point B. This practical approach helps them remain clam when driving.

Research has shown that women drivers getting caught under the influence of alcohol is negligible. This does not mean that women who drive do not drink. But just that they do not drive when they are drunk. Women drivers do not want to show off their driving skills even when they are drunk. If the same sense had prevailed among men, many number of fatal accidents could have been avoided.

So if you thought a women driver is not an ideal driver then we hope that this article has helped you change your opinion.
