India, which was until recently a huge market for hatchbacks has evolved in recent years. Car buyers now prefer to buy larger cars to accommodate their large families. While sedans were considered to be the most obvious graduation from a hatchback, SUVs and MUVs have emerged as the preferred choice of a large chunk of car buyers.
