The Figo continues to impress the Indian car buyer with its affordable price and impressive performance. The Figo's sales in the last nine months of 2012 grew by 11.57 per cent.

The Hyundai i20 hatchback's diesel variant delivered impressive sales in 2012. Hyundai has stated that sales of the i20 diesel grew by 52.27 per cent.

The Hyundai Verna has emerged as yet another diesel car that excelled in 2012. The Verna diesel's sales grew by 43.14 per cent.

Finally we move slightly upmarket in India's top diesel cars. The Renault Fluence's diesel variant has registered a 64.56 per cent increase in sales.
