Tata Vista D90 Xtreme Crossover Concept
Tata Motors, which recently unveiled the new Vista D90 hatchback at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), also displayed a more powerful version as a crossover. The D90 Xtreme concept is a sportier version of the D90 with focus on performance. Tata Motors has claimed the D90 Xtreme Concept will offer better handling and power than the recently launched production version.
The Tata Vista D90 is a natural upgrade to the Vista. With its improved power and performance the D90 will be an attractive choice for hatchback buyers. The Xtreme Concept is for some one who prefers more power, SUV like looks along with a sporty design. Tata Motors has not confirmed if this concept car will eventually becomes a production ready crossover. However, considering the positive responses the Xtreme Concept has generated, you will not have to wait too long to see this car in your nearest Tata Showroom.

The D90 Xtreme Concept's production version could well be Tata Motors' first crossover.

While the D90 hatchback is powered by a 90bhp engine, Tata Motors has increased the power output in the Xtreme Concept to 105bhp.

The added power is accompanies by sporty styling which include a black body kit, black roof and black hatch. To add to the masculine look of the car, the spare wheel is mounted on the rear.

The interiors of the D90 Xtreme Concept is also different from the hatchback. There are black leather seats with contrasting stitching, an aluminium gear shifter and pedals.

Tata Motors has modified the suspension settings to raise the height of the Xtreme Concept. This not only gives the car an aggressive look but also increases ground clearance for improved off-road performance and handling.

The front design of the D90 Xtreme Concept has an attractive black grille. Even the bonnet vents are finished in black to add to the sporty look.

The front bumper has also been modified to give a more aggressive look. Some of the other attractive design features are the black rear spoiler and roof rails.
