Tata Launches Indica Vista D90 At INR 5.99 Lakhs

Tata Motors has launched the new Tata Indica Vista D90, a turbocharged and sporty version of its best selling Indica hatchback. The new Tata Indica Vista D90 has been unveiled at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. The new car will hit showrooms with a price tag of INR 5.99 lakhs.

The Tata Indica Vista was revised way back in 2011 with several new updates. Tata Motors had proudly described the new Vista as the sedan class. The Vista now gets a power boost in the form of the Vista D90 which is powered by a 90bhp turbocharged diesel engine.

The new Vista 90 retains the 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine found in the regular variant. The only technical difference is that it gets a VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) that increases the power output of the engine to 90bhp. There is a boost in the torque figure too, which now stands at 200Nm. The new Tata Indica Vista D90 is now the most powerful hatchback in its segment.

The new Indica Vista D90 can be visually differentiated with its less powerful variant through its new front and rear bumpers, dual tone alloy wheels, roof mounted spoiler and a contrasting roof. Tata Motors will sell the Indica Vista D90 in five colours. It has launched an exclusive colour which is named as Ultra Violet.

The new Indica Vista D90 will be available in two variants. The entry level VX variant is priced at INR 5.99 lakhs, while the top end ZX+ variant is available with a price tag of INR 6.83 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
