Tata Aria Facelift & Movus MPV Launch On March 12
Tata Motors will reportedly launch the 2014 Aria facelift and the Movus MPV, which is nothing but the new name for the Grande. The facelifted version of the two vehicles are expected as early as March 12.
Tata Aria, the automaker's unsuccessful Innova competitor is supposed to receive a major design and mechanical overhaul, such as the introduction of an automatic transmission. But that could take at least another year if not more. Meanwhile, the company will look to push a few more units of the large MPV by making some cosmetic changes.

The facelifted Aria is expected to arrive with a few changes made to the front such as restyled headlamps and smoked tail-lamps, according to the Autocar report.

More importantly, the 2014 Aria will get an upgraded VariCor 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine that will add 10 HP, taking final power output to 148 HP. The engine will also be more fuel efficient.

As for the Movus MPV, it will get a slightly revised styling as well, along with feature additions depending on the variants, such as the top end getting captain style seats. Changes are also expected to be made to the dashboard.

Power will come from the same 2.2-litre VariCOR diesel engine, but one that will be detuned to deliver 118 HP.
