Commenting about the winning car A.J. Baime, Playboy's editor said, "This is the Jaguar we've been waiting for - a beautiful car, a brilliantly-performing machine, nuanced and yet very true to Jaguar's DNA. In our many miles of testing on road and track, we had difficulty finding flaws. That's why it's our 2014 Car of the Year."

Jaguar F-Type is available in both coupe and convertible forms and is offered with different engine options, the most powerful of which is a 495 HP 5.0-liter supercharged V8.

"Winning Playboy's Car of the Year award is a fantastic accomplishment for the Jaguar F-TYPE," said Jeff Curry, Brand Vice President, Jaguar North America. "This award builds upon the excitement of the all new F-TYPE, reinforces the momentum of the Jaguar brand in shaking up the sports car establishment and represents the essence of what the Jaguar brand stands for."
