Pagani Huayra Nürburgring Edition In The Works

Pagani is among those performance car makers which produce only a few cars a year. Also, considering the customization options on offer and the asking price of over a million dollar, almost every Pagani is essentially a one-off.

So, when Pagani starts working on a special edition model it automatically becomes a rare automobile and a future classic. The modena, Italy based luxury supercar maker is now said said to be working on one such limited Huayra.

Said to be known as the Huayra Nurburgring Edition, information about its existence was revealed by factory driver Davide Testi to TeamSpeed forum member z356. Nothing much is known about the Nurburgring Edition other than it being a track special and production being limited to 10-25 units.

Testi also spoke about Pagani's plans for the Huayra. He said that the Huayra's production life would be limited to 110 coupes and 110 roadsters. The Huayra Roadster, which was initially set to arrive as early as 2011, will arrive in 2016, he added.

Pagani Huayra hypercars draw their power from 6.0-litre Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 twin-Turbo engine capable of developing a massive 730 horsepower and 1.000 Nm of torque. Power delivery is through a transverse sequential seven speed gearbox, with an advanced software controlled AMT robotyzed system.
