2016 Toyota Etios To Debut With An All New Look At Auto Expo
Toyota Etios sedan never took off like the Japanese automaker had hoped for. The primary reason for the sedan's non-success in the past three odd years since its launch in India has been its less than appealing design.
Toyota is very much aware of this fact and is planning the next generation Etios sedan with an all new design that will bear no resemblance to the boxy looking current gen car.

As per Autocar's sources, the new Toyota Etios will borrow some of its design features from the new Corolla Altis. This would mean a sharper, sportier look for the next-gen Etios, which would be a far cry from the boring, outdated design of the existing model.
We can also expect the next-gen Toyota Etios to come with modern design elements such as daytime running lights and projector headlamps.

Toyota will design the new Etios while maintaining the car's strengths which are spacious interior and sturdy build.
The car maker is currently carrying out studies and gathering customer feedback to help it make the new Etios that would evoke excitement in onlookers.
Mechanically, Toyota is likely to keep the car unchanged from its current form, which would mean the two petrol and one diesel engines will be carried over, albeit with some fuel efficiency and emission improvements.
The next-gen Toyota Etios will be a 2016 model and it will be showcased at that year's Auto Expo.
