Skoda Superb will continue to be positioned on the outer edges of its segment in terms of vehicle size and as usual, will be manufactured in saloon and estate vehicle (only in international markets) body types. One of the changes that will feature in the next gen Superb will be the dropping of the dual hatchback tailgate boot opening, according to Vahland, who said it has proved too expensive for production.

Lastly, the largest engine variant that will be provided with the 2015 Skoda will be a 2.0 liter four cylinder unit. The relatively small engine will not only decrease the weight, but also improve fuel economy. Skoda will also make the new Superb more aerodynamic in a bid to increase efficiency.

A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine will be the largest offered in the Superb as part of Skoda's pursuit of lighter weight and better fuel economy. Skoda is also focusing on improving aerodynamic efficiency.
