2014 Volvo S80 India Launch Date Confirmed As March 19

The 2014 Volvo S80 showcased at the Geneva Motor Show last year will make make it to India on March 19. The refreshed Volvo S80, Mercedes-Benz E-Class rival from the Swedish automaker, will introduce some minor updates to the current car's looks to make it slightly more visually appealing.

Among the few changes to the exterior of the S80 include new front and rear bumpers, a wider grille, headlights with daytime running lights and active high beam control, and restyled taillamps.

The new S80 will also offer a range of new equipments and features as well. To name a few, there is the Sensus Connected Touch in-car system with 7 inch display, heated windscreen and heated steering wheel. The interior will also sport new upholstery.

The existing engine options are likely to be carried over as it is which are the 2.0 liter inline five cylinder diesel unit and a 2.4 liter inline five cylinder engine. The engines produce 163 HP and 215 HP power respectively and 400 Nm of torque.
