Toyota Etios Liva Diesel VD & VDSP Trims Introduced
The diesel engine variant of the Toyota Etios Liva hatchback is now available in two new trim levels. Previous offered in just two trims, the hatchback has now received two additional ones, according to TeamBHP.
Toyota Etios Liva was until now offered in three petrol - J, G and V - and two diesel trims - JD and GD. The new variant trims which have joined the diesel lineup are the top of the line VD and VDSP.
The two top level diesel trims bring several additional features both on the inside and outside. To start with, the front gets double chrome front grille, along with fog lamps, rear wiper and washer, 12 spoke alloy wheels, chrome garnish on the boot door and turn signal lamps integrated in the ORVM as standard.
Moving inside, both Etios Liva VD and VDSP come with tachometer, dual tone interiors, door armrests with wood grain finish, chrome tipped gear shift knob, Bluetooth audio system and rear defogger.
Standard safety features provided are dual front airbags and ABS with EBD. Exclusive to the top end variant VDSP are luxury amenities such as leather wrapped steering wheel and audio controls on steering wheel.
Toyota Etios Liva diesel is powered by a 1.3 liter 4 cylinder D-4D engine that generates 68 PS power and 170 Nm of torque. A five speed manual transmission drives the front wheels.
Toyota Etios Liva VD and VDSP trims will retail for INR 6.72 lakhs and INR 7.12 lakhs respectively (Ex-showroom).
