2014 Toyota Corolla Altis India Launch In May
At the Auto Expo 2014 Toyota made it clear that it was ready to loosen some restraint with the 2014 Corolla Altis. Unlike the current Corolla Altis sold in India, the 2014 version clearly looked aggressive, if not particularly sporty.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis gets larger, wider grille, swept back headlamps with LED lights and a sharper looking bumper.

Even equipment and feature wise the new Toyota Corolla Altis has plenty to offer. To name a few, there is the large 7 inch LCD touchscreen for sat-nav and reverse parking, automatic climate control, leather seats, keyless entry, rain sensing wipers, paddle shifters for automatic variant, push button start and more.

Last, but not the least, the new sedan is 100mm longer, at 2700mm which translates to more legroom at the back; something chauffeur driven Corolla owners will appreciate.

The new Corolla Altis is powered by the same 1.8 litre petrol engine rated at 140 PS power mated to either a 6 speed manual transmission or an optional 7 speed CVT gearbox and the 1.4 litre diesel, rated at 88 PS power and mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis will be launched in India on May 27, with deliveries set to begin from June. Dealerships have began accepting bookings for Rs 50,000.
