2014 Renault Fluence Launched In India; Price Rs 13.99 Lakhs
The 2014 facelifted Renault Fluence has been launched at an attractive starting price of INR 13.99 lakhs. The post facelift Renault Fluence was showcased in India for the first time at the Auto Expo 2014.

The Fluence has also been a long and elegant looking sedan, but with the new model Renault has added sportiness to that mix. Wearing the new family front grille design and several new features, the new Fluence has what it takes to be one of the best in its class.

The new front grille design, with the bold and prominently logo taking center stage, makes the car look sporty.
Add to that, the new LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps, not to mention the new bumper with a large airdam and distinct fog lamp housing further contribute to the visual appeal.
16-inch alloy wheels with a new design finishes the exterior changes. The rear of the car remains untouched.
The cabin of the 2014 Renault Fluence has plenty to offer. To list a few; there's a new 3D Surround audio system from Arkamys with eight speakers, steering wheel mounted audio controls, hands-free telephony, automated dual-zone regulated air conditioning, rear sun blinds, chrome controls and high-quality leather upholstery.
The driver amenities list continues with smart access card with remote central locking, engine start/stop button, front and rear parking sensors as well as, automatic headlamps and wipers.
The vehicle also offers a host of passive and active safety features, including front & side airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and Brake assist. The vehicle's electronic stability programme (ESP) with anti-skid regulation and understeering control function ensures vehicle stability, especially under challenging road conditions.
What has remained unchanged is the engine, which is the same 1.5 liter K9K diesel unit with peak power and torque outputs of 110 PS at 4000 rpm and 240 Nm at 1850 rpm respectively, mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. The engine has an ARAI rated fuel economy figure of 20.4 km/l.
2014 Renault Fluence is available in two variants - E2 and E4 - priced at INR 13.99 lakh and INR 15.49 lakh respectively.
