Duster AWD Launched In India: Price Specs And Details
The Renault Duster All Wheel Drive (AWD) was launched. The new Duster from Renault will be able to constantly engage all four wheels and has a shift-by-fly options of 2WD, Auto and 4WD.

The new Renault Duster AWD is priced between INR 11.89 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Duster will be powered by a 1.5-litre, dCi THP diesel engine that will produce 110 Ps at 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 245 Nm at 1750 rpm. The power is delivered through a 6-speed manual transmission.
On the exterior, the Duster comes with alloy wheels, smoked headlamps, electrically adjustable outside mirrors and front fog lamps.
The interior styling includes a sporty instrument cluster, new upholstery, improved dashboard, a multi-information display panel, rear seat centre armrest, 8-way adjustable driver seat, navigation, steering-mounted audio and phone controls and a 3-spoke steering wheel.
The main interesting feature is the four-wheel drive option which was very eagerly awaited for a long time. The car is fitted with an all wheel independent multilink suspension for better ride and comfort, keeping in mind the different road conditions. Electronic Torque Control (ETC) will ensure torque distribution to all wheels for high speed high torque balance.
Along with this, the the new Duster AWD comes with an ECO Mode, which helps balance power with fuel economy for better performance, which is claimed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 10 percent. Other features include optimal gear ratio, cruise control, reverse parking sensors, intelligent electronic stability programme, short turning radius and an approach and departure angle sensor.
The new Renault Duster AWD also comes with safety features such as a monocoque body, ABS with EBD and brake assist, dual front airbags, rear defogger and a rear wiper and washer. The Duster also comes with Electronic Stability programme (ESP), Anti-Skid resistance (ASR) and the Hill Start Assist.
