2015 Audi TT Reveal At Geneva Motor Show; Sketches Revealed

The third generation Audi TT will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next month, which will then go on sale by the end of the year as a 2015 model year vehicle. Audi has now revealed the next-gen Audi TT through a few sketches.

The new Audi TT will be built on VW Group's lightweight and flexible MQB platform and will also feature a radical & unique new cockpit, which will gradually make its way into other Audi passenger vehicles in the future.

2015 Audi TT features a design inspired by the Allroad Shooting Brake concept that was showcased at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year. Audi says the new car is also inspired by the original TT from 1998.

Overall, the Audi TT's new design looks clean and simple that's dominated mostly by horizontal lines, be it that front, rear or the sides.

Audi will provide LED headlights as well as its Matrix Beam lighting technology as optional feature with the TT.

All said and done, it is the TT's cockpit that will be the best feature to look forward to. Previewed for the first time at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show this year, the car has a "virtual cockpit."

The virtual cockpit is nothing but a 12.3-inch information display that's located behind the steering wheel, a place usually reserved for instrument panels. The TT's cabin also does not feature a centrally mounted display on the dashboard like most modern cars do.
