Manufacturers from all over the world assemble in Switzerland to showcase their upcoming products. The Geneva Motor Show is among the biggest show for automobile and two-wheeler manufacturers from all around the globe.
Japanese automobile manufacturer Mitsubishi is working on a new concept car, which will be revealed at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. They have shared with us a couple teaser images of its upcoming concept. The manufacturer claims it to be a performance crossover model.
From the images provided the new concept looks similar to the XR-PHEV concept showcased by Mitsubishi in 2013. The side profile showcases smaller dimensions than the Outlander PHEV. The Japanese manufacturer seems to be working on a performance crossover for the coming years.
Mitsubishi engineers had provided their XR-PHEV concept with a 1.1-litre turbocharged, three cylinder petrol engine. This was coupled with an electric motor for a combined performance output of 134 bhp. The Japanese automobile manufacturer had unveiled this concept at 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
The images provided by Mitsubishi showcases an aggressive looking front. We personally like the sharp and muscular designing of the concept vehicle and would like to see it on production models as well. The Japanese manufacturer has provided an electric motor to its SUV models, to make them environmentally friendly.
