Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG & AMG Performance Centre In Bangalore
Following the national launch of the ML 63 AMG in Delhi yesterday, Mercedes-Benz took the veils off the luxury and performance-oriented SUV in Bangalore today (May 16).
Simultaneously, the AMG Performance Centre was also inaugurated. Only the third one in India (the other two being in Delhi and Mumbai) and the only one in South India, the AMG Performance Centre is located within Sundaram Motors, the Bangalore dealership.
AMG Performance Centres offer a personalised service exclusive to AMG vehicle owners and customers.
Also part of the exclusive experience is the AMG Private Lounge, an online community designed to interact and benefit from the knowledge of AMG owners worldwide. Some of the highlights of engagement include lifestyle events and driver training courses all over the world. The AMG Private Lounge serves as a perfect place for AMG drivers and experts to exchange their opinions, techniques and experiences.

Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Price in Bangalore
The SUV is priced at INR 1.52 crore in Bangalore before taxes. The company's luxury SUV range now includes the G 63 AMG, the GL 63 AMG and the ML 63 AMG.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Exterior
The typically upright ML Class radiator grille with its central Mercedes star is adorned with high-gloss slats painted in black. AMG styling elements include the front apron with its large openings that ensure an effective air flow for the cooling modules.
The bottom air intake takes the form of a typical AMG styling with a gap under the fine black fin through which air can flow optimally to the cooling modules.
The AMG front apron with AMG specific LED daytime driving lights gives the ML 63 AMG a dynamic and dominant look.
Massive AMG brakes, quad rectangular exhausts, V8 Biturbo badges and 5-spoke, 20-inch light-alloy wheels complete the exterior look.

A few AMG exclusive features include:
Electrically adjustable AMG sports seats with double topstitching in a contrasting colour and AMG badges on the front and rear seat backrests, AMG dials, Alcantara and Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, Alcantara roof lining, ambient lighting in three different colours - Neutral, Solar & Polar.
Additionally, the central colour TFT display comes to life with the AMG welcome logo and AMG main menu. The interior gets two 20.3 cm displays, an 830 Watts Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 14 high-performance speakers, wireless headphones and 2 infrared remote controls.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Engine & Performance
The engine powering this AMG SUV is a 5461 cc unit that develops 550 bhp at 5250-5750 rpm (an improvement of 32 horsepower) and a max torque of 760 Nm at 2000-5000 rpm (an improvement of 60 Nm).
The AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission drives all four wheels. The ML 63 AMG can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h that can go up to 280 km/h with the optional AMG Driver's Package.
Drive performance is optimised by selecting between suspension settings - Comfort, Sport and Sport+. AMG speed sensitive steering and high-performance braking further help in improving driving dynamics.
