Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG Launched In India; Price Rs 1.49 Cr
Mercedes-Benz today launched the ML 63 AMG in an event in Delhi. The launch event was held at the new AMG Performance Center - the first of its kind in India that was simultaneously inaugurated.
"The AMG Performance Center is the cornerstone of Mercedes-AMG growth strategy and offers unique experience to AMG enthusiasts. The AMG sales and service experts ensure first-class service delivery at every touch-point throughout the customer relationship, through a rigorous and uniform global training program"
The 375th one globally, two more AMG Performance Centers will come up shortly in Bangalore and Mumbai.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Price:
The SUV is priced at INR 1.49 crore in Delhi before taxes.
The company's luxury SUV range now includes the G 63 AMG, the GL 63 AMG and the ML 63 AMG.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Exterior
The typically upright ML Class radiator grille with its central Mercedes star is adorned with high-gloss slats painted in black. AMG styling elements include the front apron with its large openings that ensure an effective air flow for the cooling modules.
The bottom air intake takes the form of a typical AMG styling with a gap under the fine black fin through which air can flow optimally to the cooling modules.
The AMG front apron with AMG specific LED daytime driving lights gives the ML 63 AMG a dynamic and dominant look.
Massive AMG brakes, quad rectangular exhausts, V8biturbo badges and 5-spoke, 20-inch light-alloy wheels complete the exterior look.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Interior
A few AMG exclusive features include:
Electrically adjustable AMG sports seats with double topstitching in a contrasting colour and AMG badges on the front and rear seat backrests, AMG dials, Alcantara and Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, Alcantara roof lining, ambient lighting in three different colours - Neutral, Solar & Polar.
Additionally, the central colour TFT display comes to life with the AMG welcome logo and AMG main menu.
The interior gets two 20.3 cm displays, an 830 Watts Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 14 high-performance speakers, wireless headphones and 2 infrared remote controls.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG: Engine & Performance
The engine powering this AMG SUV is a 5461 cc unit that develops 550 bhp at 5250-5750 rpm (an improvement of 32 horsepower) and a max torque of 760 Nm at 2000-5000 rpm (an improvement of 60 Nm)
The AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission drives all four wheels.
The ML 63 AMG can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h that can go up to 280 km/h with the optional AMG Driver's Package.
Drive performance is optimised by selecting between suspension settings - Comfort, Sport and Sport+. AMG speed sensitive steering and high-performance braking further help in improving driving dynamics.
