Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV Headed To Beijing Motor Show
As an answer to the BMW X4 and the Audi Q4 concept Mercedes-Benz will showcase its own new crossover model at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show called the Concept Coupe SUV.
While the public debut will happen in China, the concept has already been previewed at Daimler AG's Annual Shareholder's Meeting in Berlin, an unlikely place to showcase a new model. But considering images of the vehicle would have probably leaked out before launch, Mercedes-Benz did the right thing.
As the name suggest, the concept is a cross between a coupe and an SUV. The Concept Coupe SUV could also be looked at as a more luxurious version of the GLA-Class crossover.
However, the concept resembles a CLA-Class on a raised platform more than an hatchback turned crossover.
Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV is understood to be based on the ML-Class chassis. For further technical details we'll have to wait till the official launch.
