Maruti Suzuki To Launch Ertiga Anniversary Edition
When Maruti Suzuki launched the Ertiga MPV in India last year they ended up creating a new segment, one that was right below a full sized MPV such as the Toyota Innova. The automaker called it LUV, short for Light Utility Vehicle and people loved it.
If several recent reports are to be believed and also considering the fact that Maruti Suzuki has come out with several special and limited edition models in recent times, a special edition Ertiga could be on the line next.

Maruti Suzuki launched the Ertiga as a concept during the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The production version soon followed suit in April 2012.

It has now been one year since the model debuted in India and Ertiga has exceeded all expectations, with sales of over 70,000 units.

The company is now reportedly, working on an Anniversary Edition Ertiga, with a limited run.

While nothing is confirmed the special edition Ertiga is said to come with the usual sort of cosmetic upgrades such as Chrome trims on the front grille and fog lamps, art leather seat covers, Anniversary badges on the headrests and optional Bluetooth, GPS and a touchscreen infotainment system that is also found in the new SX4.

Engines - the 1.4 liter K Series diesel and petrol engines - will remain the same. The petrol unit is rated at 70 kW and 130 Nm, while the diesel engine is rated at 66 kW and 200 Nm.

The Ertiga, which is also a popular model in Indonesia, will be also be sold by Mazda soon.
