Maruti Suzuki Commence Ciaz Campaign With 'Cool Cat' Video

India's most popular four wheeler manufacturer Maruti Suzuki had an impressive portfolio showcased at 2014 Auto Expo, held in New Delhi. The Japanese automobile giant revealed its soon to be launched sedan for Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki has christened its new sedan as the ‘Ciaz', which will replace the SX4 in India. The sedan has been heavily inspired from the Kizashi as well as the SX4. However, it only takes the positive points from both the vehicles.

In today's time promotion and creating awareness is vital for a successful product launch. Tata Motors had launched the biggest campaign to promote its new Revotron engine and Zest compact sedan, across India. Maruti Suzuki too has begun its campaign for its Ciaz sedan with a 'Cool Cat' theme.

The Japanese automobile giant is portraying its upcoming sedan as the new and cool offering in India. The video has a cat, who believes he is a 'Cool Cat', they have their own song too. It seems like Maruti Suzuki is going to have several more videos like these prior to its Ciaz launch.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch its new Ciaz sedan with the same engine that powered the SX4. They will continue offering petrol as well as diesel engine options. They will offer a single petrol engine

1. A 1.4-litre petrol powered engine will produce 93 bhp, along with 130 Nm of peak torque.

The Japanese automobile giant will offer a single diesel mill, they may offer two engine tune options, however, currently only one of them has been confirmed.

1. 1.3-litre diesel powered mill, producing 200 Nm of peak torque, along with 88 bhp.

Both petrol and diesel engines that power the Ciaz will have a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki could also introduce an AMT variant that they currently offer with their Celerio hatchback, which has witnessed a great response in India.
