Mahindra Launches Reva Premium e2o Variant
Mahindra had launched its first all electric vehicle in the form of the e2o last year. The Indian manufacturer has now launched a more premium variant of its electric vehicle, called the e2o Premium.
Mahindra has introduced the Goodbye Fuel, Hello Electric scheme alongside the launch of the new car. Through the scheme, the new variant of Reva e2o will cost INR 5,72,000 on-road, Delhi, along with a monthly energy fee of INR 2,999. This will permit the owner to drive the electric vehicle for 50,000 kilometres for a period of five years.
Chetan Maini, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. explains, "Convenience of city driving has always been a priority for Mahindra Reva. The e2o is automatic with the smallest turning radius, along with features like the hill-hold, which prevent it from rolling back while on an incline."

He further added, "All this makes e2o an ideal car for urban city commuting. Now with the new premium variant, we are also offering the variable assist electric power steering, taking e2o's maneuverability to next level."
The premium variant of Mahindra e2o will have an extended range of 120 kilometres. It will also sport electric power steering for ease of driving. Mahindra's goal for the future is to make electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience in India.
The e2o Premium will also feature an infotainment system, driver information system, along with reverse parking camera and assist. The cabin interior has been spruced up for a more up market feel. The exterior design has also been tweaked for a modern appeal.
