Lotus Unveils E21 2013 Formula 1 Car

Lotus, the British Formula 1 team is the first team to unveil the 2013 season's car. The team has unveiled the Lotus E21 at its factory. Team principal Eric Boullier has said the Lotus Formula 1 team was aiming to finish the 2013 season among the top 3 constructors.

The Lotus E21 has a distinct front design with a step in the nose. Although the new rules allow Formula one teams to have a vanity panel that covers the step in the Nose, Lotus has decided to retain the step to keep the car's weight low.

The Lotus Formula 1 team has retained the services of former F1 world champion Kimi Raikonen and Romain Grosgean for the 2013 Formula 1 season. Lotus will also continue with engine supplier Renault.

Here are images of the new 2013 Lotus E21 that will compete in this year's Formula 1 championship.
