KTM X-Bow GT Images And Details
Barebone sports cars such as the Ariel Atom and the KTM X-Bow are meant to thrill and excite drivers on the racetrack. With their lightweight construction and powerful engines, the resulting power to weight ratio is enough to put to shame even supercars that cost 10 times more.
However, the only drawback with these cars are that they are not perfectly suited for street driving. With the missing roof and a small piece of glass as an excuse for a windshield, driving a vehicle like the KTM X-Bow on long drives becomes impractical, particularly when it starts to rain. As a solution to this exact problem KTM has now introduced the X-Bow GT at the Geneva Motor Show.

The X-Bow GT is structurally and internally the same as the X-Bow R. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter Inline four cylinder Audi engine.

X-Bow GT still delivers the same 281 HP and 310 ft-lb of peak of torque as the X-Bow R.

To make the X-Bow more usable as an everyday car or for long trips KTM has equipped the car with a proper windshield and new door with windows.

The X-Bow GT even has a 50 liter storage space.

Rain will no longer be a deterrent as the X-Bow is now equipped with a soft top roof.

The windshield is equipped with wipers and heating wire for defrosting.

KTM X-Bow GT is now available in Europe for 72,500 euros. No word yet on availability in other countries.
