Koenigsegg One:1 - Images, Specs, Details Revealed
Koenigsegg One:1. We told you about this car yesterday with just a single image to go with it. Now we have half a dozen & a few more details about what will definately be the (official) Bugatti Veyron Super Sport killer.
Koenigsegg One:1 is named so because it has a power to weight ratio of 1:1. That means the 1,340 HP developed by the engine has to pull a car also weighing 1,340 kilograms. And that's with all the fluids and even an average sized driver accounted for.

The engine comes from an Agera, but naturally, its been extensively upgraded. It's a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 featuring Koenigsegg designed turbos (with 3D printed housing) and seven speed dual clutch gearbox. Even the titanium exhaust feature 3D printed parts.

Koenigsegg calls the One:1 the world's first production ‘Megawatt' car because the engine develops 1,000-kilowatt power (1,340 HP).

The One:1 boasts of active aero (including a large hydraulic rear wing) promising track performance that's on-par with the likes of the LaFerrari and the P1. The car will generate 2G of cornering force and 600 kg of downforce at over 257 km/h.

Top speed? Koenigsegg is confident the One:1 can cross 273 mph (440 km/h) which would make it THE fastest production car in the world. Koenigsegg also believes the car will be the fastest accelerating car at all speeds.

The One:1 even has Merc S-Class like active cabin that adjusts suspension to provide a comfortable ride by employing GPS. The carbon fiber sport seats also have memory foam.

Just six Koenigsegg One:1 s will be built and are said to cost around $2 million. Not surprisingly, all six are spoken for.
