Isuzu, the Japanese utility vehicle manufacturer has confirmed its plans to enter India by revealing that it will be building its manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. Isuzu's Indian plant will be located in Sri City where the company will be investing as much as INR 1,000 crores.
Isuzu India's plant will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 units. Isuzu will be making an official statement on its Plant in Andhra Pradesh in Hyderabad on 15th March, 2013. Isuzu's Indian plant is expected to be operational by 2015.

Isuzu will not wait until the opening of its own plant to launch its vehicles in India. The Japanese company will be using Hindustan Motors car plant in Chennai and another facility owned by General Motors.

Isuzu which is famous across the globe for its range of powerful diesel vehicles will initially concentrate on SUVs and pick-ups in India.
Isuzu has completed the homologation process of its vehicles. Homologation is a process where government authorities will certify that the vehicles are complying with all the rules and regulations and are road worthy.
While Indians might not be familiar with Isuzu's vehicles, we have already seen Isuzu engines in action in the HM ambassador and Contessa. However, both these cars are aging and have nothing new to offer. Here are images of the latest vehicles from Isuzu's stables. Which one do you like?
