Infiniti Concept With F1 Technology At Detroit Motorshow
A Concept car based on F1 technology is going to break cover on, January 13, at the Detroit Motorshow. The car is being prepared by none other than Infiniti, based on the Q50 premium sport saloon.
Infiniti's design vision is to showcase a high performance version of the Q50 in the form of a Concept car. It would be named after Formula One's, world famous corner at Spa-Francorchamps, ‘Q50 Eau Rouge'. A corner that demands extraordinary strength, commitment and courage. This corner has witnessed Formula One's greatest driving feats in history.
The Q50 Eau Rouge from Infiniti blends road car technology and a thoroughbred motorsport vision. Design elements and aerodynamic package are heavily borrowed from Infiniti's partnership in Formula One World Championship winning team, Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
Executive Design Director Infiniti, Alfonso Albaisa admits, Performance is the main pillar in Infiniti's DNA and the car will express a strong design interpretation of it. The Q50 with loads of technology, serves well as a platform for an extreme performance version, in design elements of the Q50 Eau Rouge.
