Honda Mobilio To Be Launched In July: Official
Honda has officially confirmed that it will launch the Mobilio MPV in India during the month of July. The long awaited Mobilio will be the company's second launch this year after the City, which was introduced in January.
Honda believes that the Mobilio will revive the MPV segment in India, which has seen drop in sales this year. This Honda hopes to achieve through the MPV's styling and class leading interior space.
While not as large as the Toyota Innova, the Mobilio is expected to be more spacious than the Maruti Ertiga and Chevrolet Enjoy.
Styling is another important factor that can make or break the deal. In this regard, Honda believes the Mobilio trumps its rivals. It's stylish design is also likely to make this the favoured choice among personal buyers rather than for commercial purpose.
According to Honda, the 7-seater Mobilio is suitable for large Indian families who would generally go for a large sedan or SUV.
Honda Mobilio will share its engines - petrol and diesel - with the City, but will not offered with an automatic transmission.
Honda is yet to divulge pricing information and the exact date of launch.
We now have to wait and watch if Honda will strike a hat trick of successful launches with the Mobilio, after the Amaze and City's success.
