Honda Mobilio Automatic Transmission In India Not To Be Offered
We recently interacted with Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India during a round table conference held in Bangalore. Among various topics discussed were the upcoming Mobilio MPV and Jazz premium hatchback.
Here's what to know about the new Jazz coming to India
Honda Mobilio
Honda recently began test production of the Mobilio at its Greater Noida facility where the MPV will be manufactured once its launched some time between July and September. The exact launch date has not been finalised yet.

Like the City and Amaze, 90 percent of manufacturing will be localized, which will enable the company to offer the MPV at a competitive price.
The Mobilio will be a 7-seater like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova, but its winning formula, the company believes, will be class-leading internal space.
Though the exact dimensions of the Mobilio were not divulged, it will be larger and longer than the Ertiga, but smaller than the Innova. Even in terms of pricing, the Mobilio is likely to be placed between its rivals.

While the Mobilio will share its engines with the City, both petrol and diesel, the MPV will not be offered in an automatic variant as Honda believes it would sell in too small a number to be financially viable.
The Honda Mobilio will be the new people mover to look forward this festive season.
