Ford Troller T4 SUV For Brazil Inspired By Wrangler & Defender
Troller Veiculos Especiais, founded in 1995, has been a subsidiary of Ford in Brazil since 2007. The Troller T4 was the first vehicle they produced, which came out in 1999.
The T4 is a no-nonsense type of SUV that resembles the Jeep Wrangler. Now, for the second generation of the T4, the company has made changes to the vehicle that makes it look like a cross between a Wrangler and a Land Rover Defender, and that's a compliment.

The Troller T4 looks pretty rugged, with flared wheel arches, a narrow, Defender-like front end, and a rear end that resembles the Wrangler. The plastic parts, chunky 17-inch aluminium wheels, high ground clearance, a simple silver and grey paint scheme, all add to the Troller T4's simple, yet rugged feel.
In fact, its design, based on the brand concept shown at the last Motor Show in São Paulo, was voted the most beautiful "car show" exposure.
A few other notable features of the new Troller T4 that make it a capable off-roader are, a sky-roof, adjustable crossbars, a spoiler on the rear cover with integrated brake-light, high ground clearance and angles of entry and exit to further extend its off-road capability.
Furthermore, mixed-use tires, air intake in high position prepared for the installation of snorkel and winch are integrated basis for other equipment that contribute to its versatility.
The Troller T4 is powered by Ford's latest 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, delivering power to a 4x4 drive configuration. Specifications have not been revealed though.
Ford says, "the all-terrain performance is the key point of the vehicle. This attribute is now associated with other positive aspects such as drivability, driveability and comfort for running also in the city."
Ford Troller T4 is exclusively made and sold in Brazil, which is pity, since we are sure an SUV like this would be very well received by enthusiasts all across the world.
