Ford Ka (Next Gen Figo) Revealed In Brazil
Ford Brazil has revealed the production version of the Ka Concept hatchback that was first revealed in November last year. The Ka hatchback will be launched soon in the South American country.
Comparing the images of the production and concept Ka hatchback we can see that changes are few and obvious. The headlamps have retained the same shape, but have been given a smoked look and have different internal reflective elements.
The chrome horizontal slats on the concept car's grille have been replaced with black honeycomb grille design. The production car, otherwise, remains unchanged.
Power will come from a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine rated at 85 bhp and 105 Nm of torque. The engine will be connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of running on both petrol and ethanol.
Ford will launch the Ka in India next year as the new generation Figo hatchback. The car will most definitely carry on its present design. In terms of engine, the Ka will gain a diesel engine in India.
