Force India 2014 Formula 1 Car, VJM07 Revealed
Here it is folks. The first look at the 2014 Force India F1 car, the very first 2014 season race car to be revealed - VJM07. The team has only released a single side profile image of the car, with very few details, but more information will come out when the team takes it out for its first official testing next week at Jerez.
The first aspect of Force India VJM07 that catches the eye is the brand new livery. A far cry from the while and tri-colour design Force India cars have sported since 2009, the new livery complements the extensive mechanical and design changes the 2014 F1 season brings.

While previously white was the dominant colour, black has taken over the entire car this time. But the trademark Indian tri-colour still finds place.
Speaking about the new design Team Principal of Sahara Force India Vijay Mallya said, "The VJM07 looks stunning and the new livery reflects the way Sahara Force India is evolving. I've always believed our cars have been the most eye-catching, but adding black as a main colour gives us a fierce new look"
"As we enter our seventh season with new partnerships and new names on the car, our contemporary new look helps signal our ambition," he added. That new name is the team's new sponsor, Claro, a telecommunications brand that has appeared thanks to Sergio Perez now being a Force India driver.

Driven by the new technical changes as well as the new sponsors and new drivers Mallya feels the 2014 F1 season will be Force India's best season so far.
As for the technical changes not a lot can be made out from the image released, except for the differently designed rear wing and the front nose and wing. We'll not dwell into the technical changes of 2014 F1 car here. But you can learn more about it from the links provided above.
