Ferrari FF Coupe In The Works, Launch Later This Year
When Ferrari FF made its debut in 2011 it was unlike any other Ferrari around. A detour from the Maranello automaker's traditional design language, the Ferrari FF's body style was a love or hate thing, with hate weighing down love as time has passed.
Ferrari FF's unique shooting brake design and spacious four seat interior was meant for people who wanted a prancing horse to take a family of four on a long tour across the continent. Unfortunately, most people who drive Ferraris would rarely use them for anything more than a drive to their local golf club, a job better suited for a coupe.

This meant the large four seater has had few takers. As per a Car and Driver report, Ferrari has taken this into consideration and will thus bring out a coupe version of the FF by the end of 2014 or in early 2015.
Minus the rear seats, Ferrari FF coupe would also feature a sloping roof line, and an updated front fascia and side air vents. Ferrari FF coupe is also expected to be sold alongside the regular four door FF for the sake of the handful who still need the extra space.

There is a problem in this picture, however. You see, an FF coupe would look too much like the F12 Berlinetta. The cars are even powered by the same engine, with the latter being a tad more powerful and faster around a racing circuit. The FF, meanwhile, has its all-wheel drive system.
Would these limited differentiating factors prevent one of them from cannibalising into another's sales is the question Ferrari would have to answer.
