Ferrari Enzo Successor Gets $1.3 Million Price Tag
Ferrari's successor to the Enzo hypercar, the car codenamed F150 may not have appeared in front of the general public yet. However, the Italians have already introduced the F150 to potential customers.
Now, a new report from Autoweek states, citing "people familiar to the matter", that the F150 will have a sky high price tag of $1.3 million or 1 million euros, according to current exchange rates. And this is without adding any form of tax, doing which will take the price further up to an estimated $1.6 million or 1.21 million euros in Italy, these sources have said.
The same sources have also revealed that Ferrari will produce 499 units of the F150, which is 100 more than the number of Enzo's produced. This increase in number is due to the increased demand for ultra expensive supercars in emerging markets, especially China.
Naturally, Ferrari has not confirmed any of these details and as for the rest of us, we'll have to wait till March 5 when the F150 will be revealed to the world at the Geneva Motor Show.

Till then, however, you can feast your eyes upon the latest Ferrari renderings, created by designer Josiah LaColla. According to LaColla, his rendering is based on an "educated guess" that has been designed, taking into cosideration, "from the cracks in the mule-car camouflage to Ferrari's latest form language and the infamous leaked plaque."

Ferrari F150 will be the automaker's flagship car, powered by a V12 engine that will employ kinetic energy recovery technology from Formula 1. The hypercar will generate 950 HP and its carbon composite body will weigh just about 3000 pounds.
