Ferrari, Shreyans Group End Troubled Relationship In India
Ferrari has terminated contract with its exclusive Indian dealer, Automobili Italia Private Limited, the Italian supercar maker has stated, as reported by ET.
Ferrari entered India in 2011 by giving Automobili Italia Private Limited the exclusive rights to import and sell its cars in the country. The company was formed specifically for that purpose by Shreyans Group, run by Ashish Chordia.
The termination of contract by Ferrari comes following several official complaints by irate Ferrari customers in India who have had terrible experiences with Shreyans Group. One among the several unhappy Ferrari customers in India is Raymond Group Chairman and Managing Director, Gautam Singhania.

Gautam Singhania made news when he expressed his anger on Twitter against Shreyans Group and its owner Ashish Chordia. While Singhania was miffed over lack of after sales service offered by Automobili Italia Private Limited, there are others who have not received their high-end cars even after paying huge sums of booking amount.
Ferrari is yet to appoint a new official representative in India and until that time it will continue to interact with its Indian customers directly and try to mend some of the damage done.
