BMW has an exclusive way of going about its car launches. BMW India, has launched the new BMW X1 at an exclusive driving event at a specially designed off-road track in Gurgaon, Delhi.

The Versatile New X1
The new BMW X1 is available in two individual styles: the adventurous and agile BMW xline and the athletic and dynamic BMW Sport Line. The commanding aspect of the BMW X1 is the design which is effortlessly elegant, yet so sporty.
Fresh design elements comprise of a new front apron, LED headlights; bumpers in body color and side indicators integrated into exterior mirrors.

The new BMW X1 is powered by the new BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel engine. The advanced engine with CommonRail direct injection enables an output of 135 kW/184 hp, produces maximum torque of 380 Nm, and accelerates from 0 - 100 km/hr in 7.9 seconds with the ability to achieve a top speed of 205 km/hr.

The X1 provides you 'Sheer Driving Pleasure' and optimises the ration of performance to fuel consumption.
This is achieved with features such as ECO PRO mode, Auto Start Stop, BMW TwinPower Turbo, 8 Speed Sport Automatic Transmission, Brake-energy Regeneration, Aerodynamics, Electronic Power Steering; 50:50 Weight Distribution, Intelligent Lightweight Construction and Run-Flat Tyres.

The most outstanding feature is the Servotronic technology, the Electric Power Steering of the new BMW X1 gives maximum control with minimum effort and increases fuel efficiency, using energy only during actual steering.

The BMW X1 is not a SUV, its a (SAV - Sports Activity Coupe) and this segment was redefined with the launch of the BMW X1, the first compact SAV with a young and modern character. Ascending lateral lines, a long wheelbase and short overhangs gives the BMW X1 a dynamic and all the more impressive look.
