Audi A8L India Launch In Dubai; Price Starts At Rs 1.12 Crore
Audi has brought its flagship model to India. The Audi A8L for India was launched in a special event held in Dubai. The A8L is the most luxurious mainstream sedan offered by Audi featuring hand crafted interiors, the latest in technology and a bevy of customization options.

"With the launch of the new Audi A8L, I am confident that we will further consolidate our leadership position in the market. The new Audi A8L offers luxury connoisseurs in India excellent comfort, superb craftsmanship, strict lightweight construction and a broad portfolio of high-end technologies which truly reflect brand's philosophy of Vorsprung durch Technik," said Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India.
With the A8L, Audi offers ‘infinite' customization options, which includes the option to choose from 111 exterior colours, 23 leather colours, 27 customizable parts and 12 wooden inlays. Customers will even be able to get personalized headrest logo, door sill trims and exclusive folding tables.
Audi A8L is also the only model offered in India that offers the company's Matrix headlamps which provides a phenomenal 966,105,422 different illumination configurations. This enables the headlight system to react to oncoming or preceding vehicles and blank out light with great precision while continuing to fully illuminate the rest of the road. It also visibility in rain.
The ultimate in comfort comes in the form of a range of features a few of which include front seat ventilation and massage functions in five programs, adaptive air suspension with Audi drive select, optional Rear Seat Executive package, Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, Park Assist, Surround View Camera, panoramic-sunroof, air ioniser, head-up display, Audi Wireless Internet Access, among others.
Audi A8L will be available in three engine options - one petrol and two diesel. A V8 biturbo 4.0 TFSI with 435 horsepower, the 3.0 TDI with 250 horsepower and the 4.2 TDI with 385 horsepower. Output of the 4.2 TDI engine has been increased by 35 HP and of the 4.0 TFSI by 15 HP. In the 3.0 TDI, the torque is increased by 30 Nm while the fuel efficiency is increased by 20%. The 4.0 TFSI accelerates the new Audi A8L from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The standard transmission is an eight-speed tiptronic unit.
Audi A8L is available for prices starting at INR 11,295,000 in Delhi (ex-showroom) and INR 11,143,000 in Maharashtra (ex-showroom).
