Features
Maruti Nexa showrooms are premium in nature, the reason for Maruti to foray into this arena is because they have never been very successful in the premium segment.
This showroom features digital experience like the car configurator, mirroring screens, and tablets where you can experience the car in digital format.
The Nexa showroom will feature an App which will enable the customer to keep track of history, emergency support, accessory purchase, event updates, and booking, and can manage service requests.

They are very active on the social media platform such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Vine, Instagram and Pinterest. This helps the customer to be in touch with Nexa showroom and its activities.
Maruti dealership has been their mainstay when it comes to sales and services for the company. In fact, the Nexa showroom dealers were chosen from the existing Maruti dealership owners. A list of 300 entries was received and 100 were chosen for the initial launch of the Nexa showroom across India.
The Maruti dealerships are still the mainstay for almost the entire product range of the company and they are number one when it comes the number of dealers and service centres.
The dealership showrooms have also entered the social media platform and actively engaged in it. The Nexa however, is pan India and they are well connected to each other. The dealerships are usually located within a particular geographical area.
Cars
As of now the Nexa showroom is selling the S-Cross and the Baleno Hatchback, the dealerships on the other hand, sell nearly fourteen cars, including the newly launched Maruti Vitara Brezza.
The Nexa showroom cars have features standard across variants like the dual airbags in their cars, however, the dealership cars are usually optional.
The cars too are differentiated as variants at the Nexa showroom, which are categorised as Sigma, Delta, Alpha and Zeta. While the car variants at the dealership are classified as LX/Di, VX/Di and ZX/Di.
All the cars from Nexa showroom will sport the Suzuki badge and not Maruti Suzuki, which is otherwise available on cars sold through dealership showrooms.
Verdict
The Nexa showroom exclusively caters to the premium segment and will not offer services for other Maruti cars. The cars available through this showroom will come with best of the features like safety, and comfort and convenience.
This showroom still does not have its exclusive service centres, it depends on the Maruti Dealership to provide the support.
As for the Maruti dealership showrooms, the cars sold through this platform will cater to all price range from the affordable to the premium cars like Vitara Brezza. Also, accessories sold through dealership showrooms are comparably lower in cost as against the Nexa showrooms.
The dealership service showrooms are spread across the country, even a Nexa car will have to depend on them.
