Datsun Go+ Fares Better Than Go Hatchback In India
Datsun currently offers two four-wheeler offerings in India, first is a hatchback and the second is India's first compact MPV. The Japanese based manufacturer has christened its products as Go and Go+.
The Go hatchback was Datsun's first vehicle in modern India, which was soon followed by Go+ compact MPV. They are also planning on launching a compact hatchback in the near future.
Now it has been confirmed that the compact MPV has beaten the hatchback in India during April and May of 2015. It seems that people are opting for the Go+, which offers more boot space.
In terms of design both Go and Go+ by Datsun look similar on the inside as well as on the outside. They both also get the same equipment, engine and features, price and space is the only noticeable difference between the two.
Here are the engine specifications for both Go and Go+ by Datsun:
- Engine: 1.2-litre, inline three cylinder petrol
- Horsepower: 67
- Torque: 104 Nm
- Gearbox: 5-speed manual transmission
- Fuel efficiency: 20.63 kpl
Datsun has priced both its Indian products competitively. The Go hatchback is priced between INR 3,24,000 to INR 4,05,000. Go+ compact MPV is priced between INR 3,80,000 to INR 4,66,000 all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
