Volkswagen To Donate IPL Auction Money To WWF
Volkswagen has stated that it will donate all the money raised by auctioning the IPL edition Vento specially signed by all IPL team captains to the World Wide Fund for nature. The WWF has been one of the leading organizations when it comes to conservation of forests and endangered animals. Volkswagen will also auction IPL memorabilia to raise additional funds for its cause.
Volkswagen has been associated with the Indian Premier League since last year when it launched the first IPL Edition Vento. This year it has gone a step further by launching an IPL edition Golf too. The new variants come equipped with an entertainment system that will allow its users to watch the IPL matches live.
The Volkswagen Vento's IPL Edition II will be auctioned at the end of the tournament. People from across the country bid for the car. The IPL will conduct an online auction too. The previous year's IPL edition Vento was bought in Auction a Bangalore based person. We have to wait for the IPL final to see who will buy this year's version in the auction.
People now have an additional positive of not only buying a car specially signed by all IPL captains but also contribute towards the environment through the WWF.
