Tata Safari Storme Booking Open At Showrooms
Tata Motors has opened bookings for its Safari Storme premium SUV across its showrooms in India. The 2012 Tata Safari Storme was expected to be launched early this year itself as it was displayed at the Delhi Auto Expo in January. However Tata Motors did not bring out the Storme in the first half of 2012.
With SUVs gaining ground in the Indian car market, Tata Motors has kick started the countdown to the launch of the Safari Storme by opening its bookings. The Safari Storme is a sure shot hit once it is launched as the Safari has built up a huge fan following and many people are waiting for the launch of the new Safari.

The 2012 Safari Storme is not just an upgrade to the current Safari. In fact it has a highly improved interiors, better look and finish. The launch of the Safari Storme will also mark the arrival of a rival to the other Indian premium SUV, the Mahindra XUV 500.
The Safari Storme will be powered by a 2.2 litre Dicor engine that is capable of churning out 140bhp and 320Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a new five speed manual gearbox named G76 Mark II.
The ride and handling of the new Safari Storme is expected to be much better than the current model. This is due to the use of the body-on-ladder chassis taken from the Tata Aria Crossover. Tata Motors by opening the bookings of the Safari Storme is cashing on the popularity enjoyed by the Safari.
The much anticipated SUV from Tata Motors is expected to be launched in a few weeks. The festive season is expected to witness several new car launched and the launch of the Safari Storme will definitely be a highlight. The new Safari Storme's price is expected to be slightly higher than the current model at between Rs.6 lakhs to Rs.9 lakhs.
