Steve Jobs Wanted To Design An iCar

Jobs reimagined a complete overhaul of the auto industry, Drexler said while speaking at a recent Fast Company conference on innovation. After Jobs' demise of cancer in 2011, Apple pointed to his impact on consumers and wheels on its Web site, marking that more than 90 percent of new cars sold in the U.S. have an option for iPod connectivity.
Drexler said: "Look at the car industry; it's a tragedy in America. Who is designing the cars?. Steve's dream before he died was to design an iCar and it would've been probably 50 percent of the market. He never did design it."
Steve Jobs has amazed the whole world with electronic gadgets such as the hugely popular iPhone, iPad (tablet), an iPod (music player). Let's hope Apple implements Jobs' ideas and comes out with a great car design.
An interesting fact about Jobs is that he used to travel across the Silicon Valley in a Mercedes car with no number plates. Officials say that he made use of the Californian law that one could use a car in the state without registering for six months. He traded a Mercedes every six months for a new one and never had the requirement to fit number plates.
