Nissan Evalia Launched In Bangalore – Prices
Nissan India has launched its Evalia MPV in Bangalore. The Japanese carmaker's Vice-President, Product Planning Satoshi Matsutomi and Marketing Director Nitish Tipnis unveiled the car and interacted with the media.
The Nissan Evalia will be available in Bangalore showrooms from today. The company had earlier started taking bookings for the Evalia days before its official launch.

The Nissan Evalia is available in four variants and here is the Bangalore price of each variant.
| Variant | Price |
| Nissan Evalia XE | INR 8,64,093 |
| Nissan Evalia XE+ | INR 9,07,858 |
| Nissan Evalia XL | INR 9,65,871 |
| Nissan Evalia XV | INR 10,16,760 |
The Nissan Evalia is powered by the familiar 1.5-litre K0K diesel engine that has been tuned to deliver 85bhp and 200Nm of torque. Nissan has claimed the Evalia can deliver an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.3kmpl which is said to be class leading.
Nissan has cleverly priced the Evalia as it considers the Toyota Innova as its primary rival. The Evalia is considerably cheaper than the Innova. The Innova is available with a starting price of Rs.10.2 lakhs which is considerably higher than the Evalia.
Drivespark has already test driven the Evalia (You can read the review here). The Evalia has impressed us with its space and handling. The only thing that we did not know during the test drive in Bangalore was the Nissan Evalia's price. We had expected Evalia's price to be between Rs.9 lakhs and Rs.11 lakhs and the final price is lower than our estimates.
