Honda City CNG Launched At INR 9.03 lakhs
Honda Cars India Limited has launched the new modified Honda City which is compatible with CNG bi-fuel. There is a constant rise in consumers who are looking out for an alternative fuel vehicle with unmatched performance.
The new modified Honda City, will be offered in V grade which will come with a company approved CNG kit. This company approved CNG kit, is available across 45 dealerships located in 28 cities where CNG fuel is available.
The modified Honda City CNG is currently being offered with a 2 year warranty as standard value for all buyers.
To enhance performance and accommodate the kit, Honda has equipped the Honda city with a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder i-vtec engine. The suspension on the other hand has been modified to accommodate the additional weight of the CNG cylinder kit.
Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr Vice President, Honda Cars India Ltd, commented on this development. He said, "Honda City is one of the most successful car brand in the country and certainly the most desirable sedan in its category due to its unmatched values of performance, mileage and overall reliability. We are extremely happy to bring the City with a CNG option for our customers. Adapting the CNG technology is another step to keep low cost of ownership for our customers and will add to the appeal of the car, as it will not only be cheaper to run and maintain but also eco-friendly."
